    Job Description
    The individual in this position will have responsibility for managing the training and development of clients’ sales management and representative teams from initial contracting (on-boarding) through advanced skill development.
    As the main training point of contact the individual will collaborate with the clients’ training department to design and deliver training and development content for the pre-launch, launch and post-launch learning phases. As time permits, this individual will also work with the Preceptiv Learning Solutions group on training design and facilitation. The Primary Training Specialist primary objective is to achieve overall customer satisfaction in the creation and delivery of all required training programs.
    Key Job Responsibilities:
    (Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)
    As primary training contact for one or more contracts, the incumbent is responsible for the timely preparation of all required training materials and/or home study materials necessary for initial and follow-up training classes.
    Oversees the effective implementation of all training programs to ensure execution and skill development.
    Training managers should interface with field sales management and all internal support teams to drive client results and satisfaction.
    Create and maintain a workable Training Plan to determine the goals, strategies and tactics to be implemented to achieve client satisfaction.
    Work with Director and sales management to institute specific metrics and measurements to assess the success of training activities.
    Learn new disease state materials and be prepared to implement training of these materials in a timely fashion.
    Manages classroom environment in a manner that allows representatives to meet learning objectives.
    Coordinate inVentiv Health home-study materials and schedule.
    Manages inVentiv health content on the Learning Content Management System.
    Coach representatives during training classes and in evening sessions
    Effective facilitation skills to ensure proper delivery and retention of product, selling skills, presentation and/or role-play training.
    Rides in the field with representatives providing coaching on product and selling skills
    Evaluates the competency levels of training class participants providing detailed evaluations and feedback in a timely manner. Works with sales management to formulate a representative development plan.
    Supports sales management team by providing training materials, workshops and/or facilitation support at National, Sales, and POA meetings.
    Conducts training Needs Analysis through field training visits.
    Works with Employee Relationship Managers on Performance Improvement Plans.

    ▪          3+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare experience

    Objective of Position: This position in the Compliance department is responsible for developing an enterprise wide compliance training program.  This position is responsible for identifying, developing, implementing and tracking compliance and ethics training to ensure adherence to the law and the company’s ethical standards and practice.
    Major duties & responsibilities:
    Create content and develop objectives, surveys, tests and visual aids to effectively communicate the company’s compliance program.
    Manage the compliance training program, including liaising with internal training coordinators, training vendors, reviewing and drafting training materials, and setting the tone for the compliance training program throughout the company.
    Develop written guidance and compliance training materials for existing and new or revised laws, rules, and regulations.
    Deliver compliance training modules in person, telephonically, by webcast and other means.
    Assure adequate implementation of and reporting on compliance training activities.
    Work with the businesses and support functions to implement compliance training activities and modules
    Assume responsibility for and approve the annual compliance training plan and select appropriate training modules, courses, and targeted training activities for businesses, support functions, senior leaders, the Board of Directors, management committees, and employees generally throughout Elan
    Provide consistent, reliable and accurate reporting on the state of compliance training activities at Elan for the Chief Compliance Officer, senior compliance staff, business and support function leaders, and the board and control committees.
    Work closely with business functions to embed training activities within the businesses and to receive feedback about areas where training needs exist.
    Respond to regulatory or audit findings regarding compliance training and develop and implement action plans to correct identified compliance training deficiencies.
    Work with compliance colleagues to improve and develop the overall compliance program and compliance controls within the organization.
    The successful candidate will possess knowledge of global pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry as well as a detailed knowledge of corporate compliance programs, training, and corporate integrity agreements.
    Requirements
    A minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree, with a minimum of 7 year(s) of training experience in the pharmaceutical industry or compliance field is required.
    Ability to be proactive, operate independently to get work done and goals achieved within aggressive timeframes.
    Ability to understand complex regulatory requirements and incorporate them into meaningful and effective training exercises, modules and presentations
    Strong oral and written communications demonstrated by excellent written compliance training content and effective delivery of in-person compliance training.
    Ability to work effectively with many different groups within and outside the organization.
    Highly organized and effective in planning and executing training activities covering a very broad range of responsibilities, from drafting to delivering training, monitoring, reporting, and oversight and direction of an enterprise-wide compliance program.
    Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning is a plus.

    The SAP Training Lead will be responsible for the overall execution of training activities across the SAP ECC Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting (FI), Procure to Pay (MM), and Business Warehouse (BW) modules, and Business Objects (reporting modules) also known as the Vanguard project. The SAP Training Lead will lead a team of consultants in the effort to build and deploy the training curriculum for SAP including: defining the training strategy, developing the training delivery strategy, and providing leadership for the conception, design, development, deployment and maintenance of SAP training solutions and material. The Vanguard deployment is iterative meaning there will be several implementations. Therefore training development and delivery will be a reoccurring event. Similarly, training content updating and maintenance will commence after the first release and continue past all deployments. The SAP Training Leader will also work collaboratively with the Vanguard Group Coordinator.
    General Job Duties:
    · Responsible for the training activities for the entire Vanguard implementation (all releases) and for the timely completion of Vanguard Training objectives.
    Responsible for successful train-the-trainer, end user training, and training material creation, updating, and ongoing maintenance.
    Manage and participate in curriculum development, training program design, training materials development, delivery with the consulting team, and support of the certification process.
    Establish release-specific training requirements and determine training scope.
    Coordinate and validate training activities with process teams and SMEs.
    Use RWD/uPerform in developing, delivering and updating training materials.
    Assist with identifying trainer resources.
    Collaborate with other Vanguard members to ensure release-specific training environment needs (i.e., training IDs, refresh schedule, data).
    · Develop maintenance process of all training content for on-going use. (Moved this to help with sequencing)
    Specific Job Duties:
    • Collaborate with consulting team and Vanguard team to finalize design of training curriculum and training materials.
    • On-time execution of multi-year Vanguard Training Project Plan.
    • Manage the consulting team to design, develop, and deliver SAP training.
    • Assist in development and provide ongoing maintenance of ILT (instructor led training) content. ILT materials will include but are not limited to PowerPoint presentations, Work Instructions and Exercises (using BPPS and Simulations in RWD/uPerform), Quick Reference Guides (QRGs).
    • Collaborate in execution of End User Training Strategy and all key project deliverables.
    • Identify, lead and integrate Instructors within Workstreams.
    • Identify and ensure completion of all learning management activity aspects of training (registration, training material housing, evaluations, etc.). The Vanguard Group Coordinator will assist in the execution of these activities.
    • Manage the effort for set-up and delivery of RWD training to Business Process Procedure (BPP) Authors.
    • Collaborate with consulting team on all areas of course development (materials, technology, and reviews).
    • Manage activities and tasks, monitor progress, and issues resolution.
    • Collaborate in the development and execution of Train-the-Trainer strategy and responsible for successful deployment all end user training.
    • Designs, monitor development of, ensure distribution of, and monitor results of an assessment tool to evaluate training effectiveness, including creation of metrics.
    • Ensure IHS Vanguard End User Training is meeting its objectives through quantitative analysis.
    • Maintain Business Process Procedures (BPPs) and Simulations using the RWD/uPerform application (Moved this to help with sequencing).
    Skills
    Required Education:
    Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
    Required Experience:
    • Experience leading the development and deployment of SAP ECC training
    • Four to eight years of technology enabled training and development experience
    • Previous RWD/uPerform use or training experience a plus
    • Certificate in instructional technology or other learning discipline a plus
