Inside Sales Telemarketing Representative
Chardon, OH software company seeks Inside Sales Telemarketing Associate to support internal marketing campaigns targeting C-Level executives at regional businesses promoting business software applications including enterprise resources planning (ERP), credit and collections management and supply chain software sold direct or through value-added reseller (VAR) distribution channels. The position requires a monthly call volume of approximately 1,000 phone calls with an expected lead conversion of three plus percent. The associate works in tandem with internal sales and marketing personnel. The representative will be responsible for weekly and monthly reports and will schedule appointments for sales representatives for new leads.
Specifications and skills
Able to prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound telemarketing to established leads and cold calls to targeted companies.
Gather new customer data and secure qualified appointments for sales representatives.
Able to identify and properly qualify business opportunities.
Work with sales rep. to schedule appointments and determine new business opportunities.
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all products and services offered by the company.
Spend 75% of the time engaged in outbound sales calls to schedule qualified appointments for the sales team to meet with prospective customers.
Achieve and exceed established monthly, quarterly and annual sale objectives.
Record daily and weekly sales activity reporting, including backlog and opportunity tracking, sales call activity, and related information.
Prior Inside Sales or Telemarketing experience preferred.
Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) business systems to organize and document communications related to telemarketing campaigns is desired.
Prior experience in ERP or business software sales is a plus.
Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
BA or BS degree preferred but not required.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Required.
$30,000 to $40,000 commensurate with experience.
