    Summary of Responsibilities:

    The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing strategy and tactics to achieve business and revenue objectives for the company’s mortgage origination software product, Encompass360™, and increasing adoption and usage of the Ellie Mae Network’s partner and vendor services.

    Primary Responsibilities & Objectives:

    • Collaborate with management to define, plan, develop and execute marketing strategy and tactics for creating awareness, generating leads for new business and increasing existing client services adoption to help sales achieve revenue goals targeted at mortgage professionals.
    • Perform research and analysis to understand sales problems and market opportunity.
    • Leverage partnerships and create co-marketing opportunities with our lenders, vendors, and industry influencers to increase awareness and drive usage of the Ellie Mae Network and Encompass360.
    • Strengthen the corporate brand promise, positioning, and overall product and services messaging for Ellie Mae solutions.
    • Develop and deploy lead generation and adoption marketing campaigns including SEM/SEO, email, online marketing, direct mail, promotions and other marketing services disciplines.
    • Plan and execute marketing launch programs for new software releases and upgrades.
    • Collaborate with product and sales management to define and develop the marketing and sales tools and resources needed for inside and field sales to convert prospects and retain clients, including database marketing, sales playbook, online media, website content, collateral, demos, client testimonials, business cases, social media, tradeshows, advertising, press releases, etc.
    • Manage projects to deliver desired results, while maintaining expense and budget parameters.
    • Present marketing activity results metrics and analyses to management, and make recommendations for optimizing next generation marketing efforts.

    Qualifications, Skills & Education:

    • B.A. or B.S. Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience
    • 8+ years marketing experience and accomplishments, with at least two years in marketing mortgage services, technology, software or financial services products
    • Experience working with writers, creative services, external agencies, consultants, research firms  and third party resources, defining and driving marketing projects – such as acquisition, adoption and retention  programs; online campaigns; web content and collateral development; direct marketing programs; print and online advertising; incentive programs; tradeshows; etc.
    • Experience marketing B2B products and solutions to enterprise companies
    • Knowledge of budgeting, project cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures
    • Must have excellent teamwork, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
    • Detail orientation essential
    • Exceptional verbal, written communications and presentation skills
    • Prior success working with mortgage, lending or financial services – a plus
    • Experience with B2B portals or online transaction networks – a plus
