    Job Description:
    Rally Software is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager – Demand Generation to join our demand generation work cell. Our 3-person work cells create and execute lead generation, nurturing and customer expansion campaigns.
    We want to hire a player/coach who can share their knowledge as well as do. We believe in teach more -> sell more, so you must be top-of-the-class smart and motivated to constantly learn. You must have a strong, academic grounding in B2B technology marketing (show us your market models and personas), you can detail the enterprise buying cycle (draw it out and describe marketing’s roles), and be able to demonstrate a 7+ year history of campaign design and execution (bring links to your portfolio, campaign templates, interview scripts and project punch lists).
    The Sr. Marketing Manager will:
    •Co-create integrated digital media campaigns including email, webinars, online ads, web site landing pages and whitepaper programs.
    •Gather feedback through direct interviews of prospects and customers to constantly improve the usefulness of our channels, messages and offers.
    •Work side-by-side with Rally Sales teams to drive greater prospect engagement. Tune our campaign playbooks, call scripts and offers to steadily increase sales’ satisfaction with marketing efforts.
    •Support Rally’s Field Events team with integrated campaigns that increase attendance and post-event engagement.
    •Craft lead nurturing programs and email templates for ‘trigger-based’ and drip communications that advance prospects through the buying cycle.
    •Facilitate team planning sessions and organize the campaign roadmap.
    •Optimize budgets and show marketing’s contribution to bookings through weekly dashboards trending campaign effectiveness, prospect engagement, and funnel advancement.
    •Partner with Rally’s branding and messaging team to test and improve our understanding of buyer behaviors at key funnel stages.
    •Work with Rally Marketing Operations, Salesforce.com and Eloqua for executing campaigns and tracking results.
    •Identify and source paid advertising and social media channels to target personas and industry segments.

    Desired Skills & Experience:
    •College degree in marketing or equivalent experience. MBA a plus.
    •7+ years experience in B2B high-tech campaign design, integrated marketing and demand generation.
    •Proven portfolio of successful campaigns, including metrics
    •Excellent copy writing skills – provide sample writing of content and offers
    •Strong presentation and communication skills
    •Working knowledge of marketing and CRM systems (Eloqua and Salesforce.com preferred).
    •This position requires working out of our Boulder headquarters. Partial relocation allocated for candidates willing to relocate to the Denver/Boulder area.
