    Job Description
    The SAP Training Lead will be responsible for the overall execution of training activities across the SAP ECC Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting (FI), Procure to Pay (MM), and Business Warehouse (BW) modules, and Business Objects (reporting modules) also known as the Vanguard project. The SAP Training Lead will lead a team of consultants in the effort to build and deploy the training curriculum for SAP including: defining the training strategy, developing the training delivery strategy, and providing leadership for the conception, design, development, deployment and maintenance of SAP training solutions and material. The Vanguard deployment is iterative meaning there will be several implementations. Therefore training development and delivery will be a reoccurring event. Similarly, training content updating and maintenance will commence after the first release and continue past all deployments. The SAP Training Leader will also work collaboratively with the Vanguard Group Coordinator.
    General Job Duties:
    · Responsible for the training activities for the entire Vanguard implementation (all releases) and for the timely completion of Vanguard Training objectives.
    Responsible for successful train-the-trainer, end user training, and training material creation, updating, and ongoing maintenance.
    Manage and participate in curriculum development, training program design, training materials development, delivery with the consulting team, and support of the certification process.
    Establish release-specific training requirements and determine training scope.
    Coordinate and validate training activities with process teams and SMEs.
    Use RWD/uPerform in developing, delivering and updating training materials.
    Assist with identifying trainer resources.
    Collaborate with other Vanguard members to ensure release-specific training environment needs (i.e., training IDs, refresh schedule, data).
    · Develop maintenance process of all training content for on-going use. (Moved this to help with sequencing)
    Specific Job Duties:
    • Collaborate with consulting team and Vanguard team to finalize design of training curriculum and training materials.
    • On-time execution of multi-year Vanguard Training Project Plan.
    • Manage the consulting team to design, develop, and deliver SAP training.
    • Assist in development and provide ongoing maintenance of ILT (instructor led training) content. ILT materials will include but are not limited to PowerPoint presentations, Work Instructions and Exercises (using BPPS and Simulations in RWD/uPerform), Quick Reference Guides (QRGs).
    • Collaborate in execution of End User Training Strategy and all key project deliverables.
    • Identify, lead and integrate Instructors within Workstreams.
    • Identify and ensure completion of all learning management activity aspects of training (registration, training material housing, evaluations, etc.). The Vanguard Group Coordinator will assist in the execution of these activities.
    • Manage the effort for set-up and delivery of RWD training to Business Process Procedure (BPP) Authors.
    • Collaborate with consulting team on all areas of course development (materials, technology, and reviews).
    • Manage activities and tasks, monitor progress, and issues resolution.
    • Collaborate in the development and execution of Train-the-Trainer strategy and responsible for successful deployment all end user training.
    • Designs, monitor development of, ensure distribution of, and monitor results of an assessment tool to evaluate training effectiveness, including creation of metrics.
    • Ensure IHS Vanguard End User Training is meeting its objectives through quantitative analysis.
    • Maintain Business Process Procedures (BPPs) and Simulations using the RWD/uPerform application (Moved this to help with sequencing).
    Skills
    Required Education:
    Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
    Required Experience:
    • Experience leading the development and deployment of SAP ECC training
    • Four to eight years of technology enabled training and development experience
    • Previous RWD/uPerform use or training experience a plus
    • Certificate in instructional technology or other learning discipline a plus
    Other Skills:
