    Growing and Profitable company developing cutting edge wireless services, devices and applications that allow for novel ways for wireless devices consumers to stay in touch as well as improve their health and wellness.

     

    Due to growth and new product plans, they are looking for a smart Product Manager to work with both internal resources and external partners to create products that are easy-to-use and backed by high quality customer service.  These products will be sold on their own handsets as well as through partnerships with carriers, apps stores, and healthcare companies.

     

    Reporting up to the VP of Strategy and Business Development, this role will be crucial in helping to drive new revenues through expanded product offerings. You will help improve the Company’s market position and value by coordinating strategic planning activities, provides product management function, and creates and executes on business development strategies in select market channels.

     

    This is a full life cycle role that will go through the process of establishing and maintaining all requirements for product development, launch and lifecycle management.

     

    The right candidate will have proven ability to identify key customer needs (consumer and institutional partners) and translate them into detailed product requirements, use cases, functional wireframes and user interface mock-ups. You will also be tasked with weighing feature preferences for customer experience versus time and resource constraints, and then make recommendations to the Executive Team for significant decisions. This should be backed up with detailed data analysis wherever possible.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

     

    • MUST HAVE a minimum of 5 years product management experience.
    • MUST BE a stellar writer of Product Requirement Documents / Business Requirement Documents (PRD’s, MRD’s, BRD’s)
    • MUST HAVE minimum of 3 years developing software services for segmented markets;
    • HIGHLY PREFERRED: Wireless, Consumer Software, Consumer Electronics, Medical Device
    • Experience translating strategy and business needs into product requirements and user experience flows. Requires strong leadership to educate, collaborate and drive product goals on behalf of the customer.
    • Ability to establish process orientation and identify key decision points or approval gates.
    • Experience with Agile methods and influence continuous process improvement.
    • Experience researching market and competitive solutions for best practice implementation.
    • Must have proven ability to resolve conflicts, confront issues and drive to resolution, and be able to escalate appropriately when senior team needs to be included in decision.
    • Willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals.
    • Comfort with ambiguity and nimbleness to respond quickly to evolving market and distribution opportunities.
    • Knowledge of human factors, usability best practices and user testing.
    • Specific product experience in multiple, diverse business environments (large corporate, small start-up, development shop).
    • Product development, management or marketing role in environments using agile or scrum development methods.
    • Education: Minimum education required is a BS/CS degree or related filed.
