The Database Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, execution and analysis of lead database development programs that support Dell’s Storage solutions portfolio, through the use of online marketing automation tools and other integrated marketing media. These programs will nurture a database of prospects through the marketing qualification process, generating “sales ready” leads. The program manager will develop campaign plans (including identification of program key performance indicators), oversee database development programs (including coordination and communication/training of cross-functional resources), content development and program performance analysis and improvement planning.
The Database Marketing Manager will:
Creating targeted programs to nurture and develop existing prospect database that will result in cost-effectively accelerating lead qualification process
Monitor and continually adjust programs throughout the program lifecycle to meet key program performance metrics
Create program plans and ensure execution working with marketing support resources both internally and externally as required.
Monitor and analyze relevant data across the marketing and sales process to evaluate program effectiveness and ROI.
4-6 years of experience in a Marketing / Demand Generation role
A background in the fundamentals of lead nurture, 1-to-1 communications or direct marketing
Knowledge of CRM and Marketing Automation tools required. Salesforce.com and Eloqua a plus.
Experience developing marketing programs to support B2B enterprise software sales
Experience writing direct marketing copy; the ability to develop copy in support of lead nurture programs
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, acute attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Experience in high tech and/or storage industry a plus
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize
Must be results driven, capable of working independently
High degree of flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
