    Job Description
    The Sr. Cloud Program Manager position will develop programs to market to a targeted group or customer base. This role will create a program to identify, recruit, foster and promote Rackspace’s offerings to defined group. This role will drive top-tier marketing programs to foster a deeper understanding across the target base of Rackspace and mentor group on domain knowledge. This role will have the ability to create and launch a new marketing initiative across Rackspace Cloud.

    - Help drive adoption of a structured, repeatable approach to core aspects of marketing programs focused on a targeted group
    - Directs the development of marketing programs – campaigns, events, email marketing, sales support, segmentation analysis and targeting
    - Work with account teams to establish and strengthen relationships with prospective customers to promote higher-level visibility, awareness and “how to” programs for Rackspace
    - Develop and maintain assigned industry profiles, including market share, competitive footprint, and industry-specific use cases.
    - Provide needed support to ensure efficient and effective execution of programs and processes; including guidance and governance for reference database business requirements, data customization, and reporting.
    - Work cross-functionally with various worldwide internal teams to market and highlight customer success, including Product and Channel Marketing.
    - Engage with customers, channel partners, contractors, and business partners.
    - Defining unique ways of highlighting customer successes
    Job Requirements
    The ideal candidate will have the following:
    - Expert knowledge in developing and executing marketing programs
    - In depth industry knowledge
    - Strong presentation, training/mentoring experience
    - Ability to work in cross-functional / matrixed organizations
    - Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing business priorities
    - Strong drive for results and ability to execute on the fly
    - Strong experience with process (building, utilizing and optimizing)
    - Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred, with 5 years of experience
    - Excellent management skills with ability to effectively direct the company’s marketing operations
    - In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and practices
    - Excellent time management, interpersonal, communications, decision-making, presentation and organization skills.
    - Must have invaluable knowledge of market, customer and competitor trends.
    - This role is required to have excellent interpersonal skills with customers directly or through sales.
    - Must have excellent skills in creating business development plans.
    - Excellent skills in leading generation activities and tracking plan effectiveness.
    - Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
    - Ability to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand.
    - Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
    - Excellent working knowledge of PC tools including database management, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation tools.
    - Ability to remain poise and exude discretion.
    - Excellent verbal and proven written communication skills.
    - Excellent project and program management skills.
    - Ability to provide FANATICAL support.
